Awesome comet NEOWISE

Comet Neowise C/2020 F3 taken last night at 1:45am local time. I haven’t seen such an amazing, naked-eye comet since the great comet Hale Bopp in 1997!
Image details: Nikon D5500, Nikon 180mm f2.8 @ 180mm/f2.8. Total of 13 minutes exposure time (39 x 20 seconds) at iso 200. Stacked with Deep Sky Stacker and tracked with AstroTrac TT320X-AG
That’s wonderful. I’ve not had a clear night for at least a few weeks here in Lancaster, but I’m off to Oxfordshire tomorrow, so maybe I’ll have better luck there. Wish you hadn’t stopped using Twitter? It was how I came across your photography in the first place.
Thanks Colin, I didn’t realise people still checked the twitter feed so I’ll try get my act together! Fingers crossed for clear skies in Oxfordshire. The comet is definitely worth staying up for. I was out till 3am last night shooting the comet from a dark sky location in the Yorkshire Wolds, so I’ll have some more photos up soon.
