    These are really terrific images. I stumbled across your blog whilst looking for designs for barn-door tracking mounts. I’m hoping to get around to building one very soon, and If I can capture images half this good, I’ll be delighted.

      Hey Matthew, glad you enjoyed the site. Good luck with the barn door tracker build too.. I’ve been blown away with the results on many occasions, so it’s definitely worth putting one together.

Noctilove is a website devoted to low light photography and astrophotography with a barn door tracker. All of the images on this website were taken without a telescope. Just a regular DSLR and lens. You'll find images of comets, meteors, galaxies and nebulae, as well as night landscapes, Aurora, noctilucent clouds, and lightning. Almost all images on the noctilove website were taken from a light polluted area of England at sea level. Far from perfect conditions! To build up the detail and to reduce noise, images have been 'stacked' with Deep Sky Stacker and processed with Photoshop to make them as pretty as possible.
